Feeding Finch Series

Winter is one of nature's greatest challenges. Beneath a blanket of snow, every seed becomes a source of hope, and every meal is a small victory in the struggle for survival.

This photograph captures a finch searching for food during the harsh winter conditions of Anatolia. Created after hours of patient observation, it reflects the resilience of wildlife and the quiet determination that often goes unnoticed.

One image, two international competitions, and two Gold Medals. 🥇🥇

This photograph was awarded a Gold Medal at both the Anatolian Autofocus International Photography Competition and the 5th International Reha Bilir Photography Contest – 2026.

For me, it means more than two awards. Seeing the same image recognized by different juries in different international competitions makes this achievement especially meaningful.
